Alison was described by Cabaret Scenes as, "a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice who transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with brilliant arrangements and vocal experimentation." No stranger to stages large and small, Alison has performed as a soloist at venues ranging from Disney Concert Hall to Lincoln Center. She has performed/toured with world music a cappella groups, major cover bands, R&B acts, as well as gospel and classical ensembles at high profile events throughout California. She has also shared the stage with such notables as Michael Franti, Peter Yarrow, and Patti Austin. She has additionally performed the national anthem for the LA Lakers, the Clippers, the 49ers and the Golden State Warriors.
Her debut solo album, Seven, received much national and international acclaim, as well reached the top 40 of both the CMJ and RMR charts. Here are just some of the things reviewers across the globe had to say:

Alison is a seasoned session singer, having provided vocals for artists across the United States and Europe. You can hear the variety of styles in which she specializes here (including classical, jazz, musical theater, folk, soul and pop). Her off-camera credits include TV shows (including "Disenchantment," "What We Do in the Shadows," "A Real Bug's Life," Bob Hearts Abishola," video games, films, and independent artists. On-screen appearances include the movie, "In Pursuit of Happyness" (Sony Pictures, gospel choir singer) and the TV shows, "Chasing Life" (ABC Family, Cantor), “Just Roll With It (Disney Channel, Caroler) and “Good Trouble” (Hulu, street choir member/soloist).
A consummate singer/songwriter, her original song, "Seesaw" earned a Finalist position with the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, while her single "Tidepool" earned a finalist position in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards showcase. Both the single, "Tidepool," and her album, "Seven" won the Akademia Music Awards for Best Americana Song and Best Jazz Album respectively. Alison also lent her songwriting and vocal talents to a recently released album of originals co-written with Peter Yarrow and survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shootings.
As an active community organizer, Alison volunteers her pipes at numerous hospitals and treatment facilities as well as has led major social service efforts across the United States and abroad. She additionally serves as a Speech Language Pathologist, a voice instructor, and a facilitator of community singing workshops in Skid Row through the nonprofit organization, Urban Voices Project.
